So, if you have been following the 12 Months of Christmas you may remember that back in March I challenged everyone to collect "wearables".  This month I want to bring the wearables back--with a twist!

I have been moved by different posts I've seen from Samaritan's Purse about children showing up to receive a shoebox with worn-out shoes or no shoes at all!  Take a look and see what I mean.

So this month I'm challenging everyone to collect sturdy shoes.  Flip flops are great for boxes because you can buy a lot of them for very little money and they leave lots of room for other items.  But, as you probably know from personal experience, they break down pretty quickly.  So let's bless some children with shoes that will last!

Here are some tips and inspiration from other shoebox packers like yourself!
